Drums & trumpets you shall hear...

Hi

I'm hoping someone can help me recall a hymn sung at English boarding school in the 1950's, unfortunately I can only remember fragments of it, but part of it went something like this:

Ever closer to us bring,
.... praises we will sing,
Drums and trumpets shall you hear,
Long and loud, God's (?)message clear,
Praise him, Prase him, Praise him!

I'd really like to read the lyrics in full and perhaps hear it again, but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the net.
