Hold On - The McKameys
I'm not sure all of the lyrics are accurate
so as always, corrections are welcome

On top of Mt Carmel Elijah did pray
seeking an answer; praying for rain
He sent his servant to view the sky
while he prayed and waited for a reply
Off ran his servant looking in vain
Elijah seemed crazy for there was no rain
He climbed that mountain six times in doubt
but seven brought promise when God ended that draught
Chorus
Hold on 'til Jesus opens the sky
Hold on He'll dry each tear from your eye
Let go of your trouble, turn loose your care
Hold on my brother, He will be there
Often it seems like our prayers are in vain
your house full of trouble; no sign of rain
But from the throne room in Heaven water flows free
so just hold on dear Christian, He'll hear your plea
so as always, corrections are welcome

Re: Hold On - The McKameys
Fast forward 6 years
I was just listening to this song again
and I think in the 3rd verse, instead of
your house full of trouble it should be
droughts full of trouble.
that makes more sense Eh?
