I need help with a song - Standing on land my father owns

Post by Captain_44 » Sun Apr 14, 2024 5:00 am

I was listening to the praise and worship on SirusXM today. A song come on that hit me. I wanted to learn it but all I can remember is the last time of the chorus. Can someone help me find the song? I have searched the last lines on google with no help. Thank you in advance.

Here are the words of the last line of the chorus.

Standing on land my father owns.

These are the last words of the chorus. Thanks to anyone who can help me find it.

Hi Captain,

If this is the song, I’ll complete transcribing the lyrics ASAP
If anyone else can post them or fill in the word in the chorus
Please do so

One day I will cross over this cold river
to a dwelling place made ready for the saved
Anxiously I′m waiting as time draws closer
But for where I stand I'm blessed either way

My father owns the land on both sides of the river
? in time I know I’ll feel at home
I've never been there yet I will not be a stranger
For along both sides of the river
I'm standing on land my father owns

They said the man can’t fathom all that is waiting
the moment

Here’s the rest of the lyrics with corrections
But still needs work

They say the mind can’t fathom all that is waiting
the moment we take in celestial ?
Could overwhelm my heart and bog down my thinking
If I didn’t know the set up there

My father owns the land on both sides of the river
At crossing time I know I’ll feel at home
I've never been there yet I will not be a stranger
For on both sides of the river
I'm standing on land my father owns
