Fervent in Spirit, serving the Lord - Lyrics

[joeltutka]

1. Fervent in Spirit, serving the Lord,
Holding the Word that has been restored,
We recognized the One standing here,
Raising His standard high without fear.

Chorus: Our loving and gracious Lord, help us today
When the time is so nigh, be the salt of the earth.
The greatest treasure in the vessels of clay,
In your presence Lord, we want to stay.

2. Led by the vision, filled with His power
We want to stand assured in this hour
His precious music, its deeper meaning
On this reality we are leaning

3. Get in the Spirit of this Composer
The final tones are now getting closer
Stay with the Author, follow the rhythm
Get back in line and you’ll surely see Him.

Bridge: My desire is that all the days
Of my life on this earth
Be important in your eyes.
