I am not sure if this is the one you are looking for but this is the one I found...hope it helps
VERSE 1
You think life's just a party
A carousel of fun
You laugh and play the day away
As if tomorrow won't come
Just as long as you're friends all around
Life is so carefree and gay
So eat, drink, and be marry today
Life's just a game you play

VERSE 2
You live for this life only
Ignoring the one to come
Forgetting that someday you'll answer
For all the deeds you have done
You laugh and joke about heaven
And say it can't be true
Go right on with your party
That's what's important to you

VERSE 3
But someday the party will be over
The fun and laughter gone
Your friends will leave and all go home
Then you'll be left alone
All the signs of gayety
You knew just as before
Will lie so cold and silent
Just as dust upon the floor

VERSE 4
Then it will be just you and your soul
To spend the long night through
Oh how you'll wish you'd known the Lord
And that the Lord knew you
Then it will be just you and your soul
To spend the long night through
Oh how you'll wish you'd known the Lord
And that the Lord knew you

The Party
Verse 1. You think life's just a party A carousel of fun You laugh and play the day away. As if tomorrow won't come Just as long as you're friends all around Life is so carefree and gay So eat, drink, and be merry today
Life's just a game you play

Chorus
But someday the party will be over The fun and laughter gone Your friends will leave and all go home Then you'll be left alone All the signs of gayety
You knew just as before Will lie so cold and silent Just as dust upon the floor.
Then it will be just you and your soul To spend the long night through Oh how you'll wish you'd known the Lord And that the Lord knew you Then it will be just you and your soul To spend the long night through Oh how you'll wish you'd known the Lord And that the Lord knew you
