I'm looking for the title of the hymn that has these lyrics:
Who Is a Pard'ning God Like Thee?
Or who has Grace so rich and free?
I believe it to be in 3/4 time, and when the melody is being sung to "Or who has Grace so rich and free?", the bass line is playing 8th notes.
Make sense?
Help!!!
Thanks so much,
Sharon

Sharon,
I, too, was looking for this hymn. I googled it and found the title: Great God of Wonders. It starts out in four-four time, then changes to three-four on the Chorus. It appeared in two of my hymnbooks, Great Hymns of the Faith (Singspiration, 1968) and the newest Presbyterian Trinity Hymnal (Great Commission Publications). It's a great piece, and interesting that the marvelous words of the chorus is what stuck with us. Author of the words was John Newton.
Best regards,
Carole
