That is the name of it. "The Apple Tree Song"
There have been a lot of different people record this song, not exactly word for word, but very similar, I have a soundtrack with the demo that was performed by Jim Hamill. He sang with several gospel groups for over 50 years. He sang with the Kingsmen for 28 years. "Coming Home" is playing in the background
as he does the recitation. www.daywind.com is where I got my soundtrack.

I'm looking for song lyrics for a song called "send down the rain"the only lyrics I memorized are:"I live in a desert nly trobel comes my way:as i try to make a liviin,off the land"and then a page later it goes:"send down the rain, send down the rain, send down the rain to soothe my burnin soul again,again,send down the rain"oh yeh the person who is lokkin for the lyrics "THe latter rain"just do to google typ in the title of send down the rin and itll come up with a bunch of lyrics for that song by different artists.
