i have listened to these songs being sung by the matthews family. som of the other sons that i'm trying to find the lyrics to is:
-the fire has nrver gone out
-there is a god
-no other fountain
-bright side
-i will wear a white robe
-god's hand
-lighthouse
-i'd prayed for you. These songs have been sung by the matthews family so much that i can remeber them singing them.

No Other Fountain
I will draw my strength from Jesus,
as I lay upon his breast
I will take my comfort from him,
I will find in him sweet rest

Chorus: For there is, no other fountain,
where I can be, more satisfied
than in the arms, of Christ my Savior,
no blessings I, will be denied

All pain will leave my aching body,
as his sweet, healing flows
demons TREMBLE, in his presence,
in Jesus name, they have to go

Chorus

On some morning, in that yonder city,
I will awake, to sleep no more
In Gods presence, live forever,
all sin and pain will all be o'er

Chorus (twice)

THERE IS A GOD

There is a God
and only one
who made the earth and sun

he made all things
created man
acording to his plan

chorus

there is a God
there is a god

and he is real
and he is real
deep in my heart
deep in my heart
his love I feel
his love I feel
when I am laid
when I am laid
beneath the sod
beneath the sod
I'll see and kn-o-o-o-ow there is a God

there is on God
some people say
wont go to church
or pray
but when they die
what they might find
will surely change thier mind
chorus

I think ther is another verse Ijust caint remember it (p.s pleasr forgive the spelling)

A Place To Spend the Night

Verse 1

Death is a dread for everyone, but it's surely going to come
Unless the Lord makes His return before we die.
But I'm not afraid to face the grave for very soon it will be day.
And I know I'll just have to stay there over night.

CHORUS

For it's just a place to spend the night, a place to rest before my flight
Morning will come with the shout of my King.
Then I will rise so high above the clouds beyond the sky.
For it's not a grave, it's just a place to spend the night.

Verse 2

Now there is a thought, it cheers me on. And it will bring you comfort after I'm gone.
God made a promise there will come an end to this night.
He's gonna bring down His Son to gather us in-those He has saved redeemed from our sins.
And the children that sleep thank God will be the very first ones to rise.

============

One Day I Will

Verse 1

I have never seen the face of my Savior,
But serving Him's been such a thrill.
I have never seen the gates of that city
Oh but one day, one day I will.

CHORUS

One day I'm gonna walk on streets of pure gold.
And they tell me the half has never yet been told.
We'll be united with loved ones on Zion's Holy Hill.
One day, one day I will

Verse 2

From the time I first met Him, He's been all to me
And my life with His joy He has filled.
And I'm longing for the day when my eyes shall behold Him
Yes one day, one day I will.

A WHITE ROBE

I'm only a pilgrim (I'm only a pilgrim here below) a pilgrim below

While journeying through ( while journeying through ) The desert sands (desert sands)

But after awhile (but after awhile) Oh, yes I know (Oh, Yes I know)

I'll wear a White Robe (I'll Wear a White Robe) (White Robe)

In the Glory-land

I'll wear a White Robe (I'll wear a White Robe)
And sing with the Angel Band (and sing with the Angel band) (bright angel band
Just Inside the Gates Where love ones now wait
I'll wear a White Robe (I'll Wear a White Robe) (White Robe)
In the Glory-land

Though oft on the way (Though oft on the way) I'll weary grow (So weary grow)
And hidden may seem (and hidden may seem ) His guiding hands (His guiding hands)
He will never forsake (He will never forsake) Me this I know (I surely know)
I'll wear a White Robe (I'll Wear a White Robe) (White Robe)
In the Glory-land

THE LIGHTHOUSE

THERE'S A LIGHTHOUSE ON A HILLSIDE THAT OVER LOOKS LIFE'S SEA.

WHEN I'M TOSSED IT SENDS A LIGHT OUT THAT I MIGHT SEE.

AND THE LIGHT THAT SHINES IN DARKNESS NOW WILL SAFELY LEAD US O'ER

IF IT WASN'T FOR THE LIGHTHOUSE MY SHIP WOULD SAIL NO MORE.

AND I THANK GOD FOR THE LIGHTHOUSE,

I OWE MY LIFE TO HIM.

FOR KING JESUS IS THE LIGHTHOUSE,

AND FROM THE ROCKS OF SIN.

HE HAS SHOWN A LIGHT AROUND ME,

THAT I MIGHT CLEARLY SEE.

IF IT WASN'T FOR THE LIGHTHOUSE,

TELL ME WHERE WOULD THIS SHIP BE.

EVERYBODY THAT LIVES ABOUT US SAID TEAR THAT OLD LIGHTHOUSE DOWN.

THE BIG SHIPS DON'T SAIL THIS WAY ANYMORE

THERE'S NO USE OF IT STANDING AROUND.

THEN MY MIND GOES BACK TO THAT STORMY NIGHT

WHEN JUST IN TIME I SAW THE LIGHT.

YES THE LIGHT FROM THAT OLD LIGHTHOUSE THAT STANDS UPON A
