I am in a Youth Gospel choir.. Well was... My choir teacher passed away not long ago... =( This song was sang at her memorial concert. I also sang it in a trio. At the memorial service, however, we took me out and added a bass. Anyway, It was still touching.

I remember sitting at camp this past summer, while the preacher played this as the invitation song after preaching about remembering how much we have been blessed.

One of the biggest blessings in my life, my best friend, was sitting in the girls' section, about three rows over, and I couldn't help but cry as I thanked God for bringing her into my life.

Thank you Lord, for the gift of friendship, for I have truly been blessed.

Missionary Jon Allinson and his wife Rebecca (missionaries to Mexico City) sing this as a duet on their 2010 CD Standing on Timeless Truths. The web site on their CD is www.chief-cities.org. It's a great song.
