I use to sing at school untill i moved to australia and then no one in my class hasn't heard of that song. thanks now i can sing it !! i made up my own version of that song about my family and pets,goes like this:

I love this song i used to sing it at eod and my mates asked me to bring it in to secondary. when i found this website the whole family sung it together. we love it and allways will do.

I believe the lyric is spelled incorrectly. It should read "Common Tern".

A Common Tern is a seabird, sometimes called a "sea swallow".
