Is there an old hymn that refers to "the land of milk and honey?"
Deut. 11:9
...........where the milk and honey flow
...........where the milk and honey flow
The first song that came to mind was "Heaven On My Mind" but I don't remember who sang it. Part of the chorus (the only part I can recall!) goes:
I got heaven on my mind, down inside this heart of mine
don't you know, I want to go, where the milk and honey flows;
there's a light that always shines, down inside this heart of mine
I got heaven, heaven on my mind, and now I'm feeling mighty fine
Come to think of it, this may be a Cathedral Quartet song.
If this isn't the one, I sure hope you find it.
I got heaven on my mind, down inside this heart of mine
don't you know, I want to go, where the milk and honey flows;
there's a light that always shines, down inside this heart of mine
I got heaven, heaven on my mind, and now I'm feeling mighty fine

Golden Streets of Glory.
"There's a city where the streets are paved with gold. A land where the milk and honey flow. There's a mansion there for me cause my Bible tells the story. I just hope my feet are clean enough to walk upon the golden streets of Glory.
Green meadows where the little children play. No sorrow there just one long happy day, and none can enter there except the pure and holy. I just hope my feet are clean enough to walk upon the golden streets of Glory.
And when I reach my journey's end and if I'm worthy to go in the golden streets of Glory I'll walk on, and the golden streets of my new home will lead me up to the Master's throne and there with the Angels I will sing "GLORY TO HIS NAME HOLY HOLY" I just hope my feet are clean enough to walk upon the golden streets of Glory

The Cathedral Quartet did indeed sing this one. Glen Payne was one of the older members at the time, but his face lit up like a burning flame when he sang this one (we were blessed enough to hear them TWICE!) If you can find some of their mid-80's products (projects?) you might find something with that song on it. We had a cassette tape and wore it out listening to it!
...........where the milk and honey flow
I woke up this morning feeling fine I woke up with heaven on my mind
I woke up with joy in my soul cause I knew my Lord had control
I knew I was walkin' in the light cause I'd been on my knees in the night
And I'd pray till the Lord gave a sign and now I'm feeling mighty fine
Well I'm feeling mighty fine I've got heaven on my mind
Don't you know I want to go where the milk and honey flow
There's a light that always shines down inside this heart of mine
I've got heaven on my mind and I'm feeling mighty fine
We're walking with Jesus all the time we're walking and talking as we climb
We're traveling a road to the sky where I know I'll live when I die
He's been telling me all about that land and he tells me that everything is grand
And he says that a home will be mine and now I'm feeling mighty fine
I woke up with joy in my soul cause I knew my Lord had control
I knew I was walkin' in the light cause I'd been on my knees in the night
And I'd pray till the Lord gave a sign and now I'm feeling mighty fine
Well I'm feeling mighty fine I've got heaven on my mind
