Need help identifying a song heard on the radio! In the morning I'll go walking

I'm looking for a song about a family member dying and she could smell the sickness/death in the room when she visited this family member.

The song goes something like:

"In the morning I'll go walking with Jeeeeeeeeesus, I will lay this burden down"
and then something about down by the river, seeing heaven's shore, and trading a cross for a crown.
