See Him resplendent on His throne, the sons all brought to glory

Post by Rhoda Kerr » Thu Apr 14, 2016 7:14 pm

This is one of the verses in the hymn but I would like to know all of the hymn and who wrote it, please.
See Him resplendent on His throne
The sons all brought to glory
Cry hallelujah to the Lamb
And sing redemption's story
And all creation bows in awe
The wretch is now God's treasure
By grace alone through faith alone
In Christ alone forever

That's an additional verse to the hymn "How deep the Father's Love" by Stuart Townend.

it was apparently written by a member of Great Victoria Street Baptist Church, Belfast

Yes that last verse:
Behold the king upon the throne
The sons all brought to Glory
Cry Hallelujah to the Lamb
And sing redemption’s story
And all creation joins as one
The wretch is now gods treasure
By grace alone, through faith alone
In Christ alone forever

Though I thought it was from Whiteabbey Presbyterian Church where it has been sung for some time. I appears at 1:13:26 in their live stream from 28 Janary 2024 Linked here: https://www.youtube.com/live/vs1jRstpi7 ... gJi&t=4406
