Though I believe still i just can’t conceive

John saw a holy city built by God for all the saints to share
homecoming gathering in that city four square
There the Lamb provides the golden light so there can be no night
though I’ve not seen but I imagine in my wildest dreams

it’s said that there angelic hosts proclaim that He is King of Kings
and say that millions let His praises ring
and there golden streets reflect the sights of mansions glistening bright
I’ve not seen but I imagine in my wildest dreams

it’s a story told by a thousand tongues
it’s a land we sing of in a thousand songs
Though I believe still i just can’t conceive
all that heaven means in my wildest dreams

then the King of Glory left the throne and He came to Galilee
to suffer heartaches, pain and misery
upon that cross He died but He left the grave so we all could be saved
I’ve not seen but it’s hard to imagine in my wildest dreams

when my life is through and I’ve done all I can do
I’m going to a place where all my dreams come true

it’s a story told by a thousand tongues
it’s a land we sing of in a thousand songs
Though I believe still i just can’t conceive
all that heaven means in my wildest dreams

Though I believe still i just can’t conceive
all that heaven means in my wildest dreams
