I'D RATHER HAVE JESUS
( Rhea F Miller and
George Beverly Shea)

I'd rather have Jesus than silver or gold,
I'd rather be His than have riches untold;
I'd rather have Jesus than houses or land,
I'd rather be led by His nail-pierced hand:

Chorus
Than to be the king of a vast domain
Or be held in sin's dread sway
I'd rather have Jesus than anything
This world affords today

I'd rather have Jesus than men's applause,
I'd rather be faithful to His dear cause;
I'd rather have Jesus than worldwide fame,
I'd rather be true to His holy name:...

Chorus

He's fairer than lilies of rarest bloom,
He's sweeter than honey from out the comb;
He's all that my hungering spirit needs;
I'd rather have Jesus and let Him lead:...

Chorus

I'll Meet You In The Morning
Words & Music by Albert E Brumley

Verse 1:
I will meet you in the morning by the bright riverside
When all sorrow has drifted away
I'll be standing at the portals when the gates open wide
At the close of life's long dreary day

Chorus:
I'll meet you in the morning with a "how do you do"
And we'll sit down by the river and with rapture auld acquaintance renew
You'll know me in the morning by the smiles that I wear
When I meet you in the morning In the city that is built four square

Verse 2:
I will meet you in the morning in the sweet by and by
And exchange the old cross for a crown
There will be no disappointments and nobody shall die
In that land e'er the sun goeth down

Chorus:

Verse 3:
I will meet you in the morning at the end of the way
On the streets of that city of gold,
Where we all can be together and happy for aye,
While the years and the ages shall roll.

I'M GOING THROUGH
By Herbert Buffum

Lord, I have started to walk in the light
That shines on my pathway so clearly, so bright;
I've bade the world and its follies adieu,
And now with my Savior I mean to go through.

Refrain:
I'm going through, I'm going through,
I'll pay the price, whatever others do;
I'll take the way with the Lord's despised few;
I'm going through, Jesus, I'm going through.

Many once started to run in this race,
But with our Redeemer they could not keep pace;
Others accepted because it was new,
But not very many seem bound to go through.

Let me but follow my Lord all alone,
And have for my pillow, like Jacob, a stone,
Rather than vain worldly pleasures pursue,
Than turn from this pathway and fail to go through.

Come then, my comrades, and walk in this way
That leads to the kingdom of unending day;
Turn from your idols and join with the few,
Start in with your Savior, and keep going through

Hope this is the one you want. God Bless.

"Camping in Canaan's land"

I have left the land of bondage with its earthly treasures
I've journeyed to a place where there is love on every hand
I've exchanged a land of heartaches for a land of pleasures
I'm camping, I'm camping in Canaan's happy land

*Refrain:
Every day I'm camping, camping, in the land of Canaan's land
And with rapture I survey its wondrous beauties grand, on glory
Glory, hallelujah, I have found the land of promise, and
I'm camping, I'm camping in Canaan's happy land

Out of Egypt I have travelled, thru the darkness dreary
Far over hills and valley's and across the desert sands
But I've landed safe at home where I shall not grow weary
I'm camping, I'm camping in Canaan's happy land

* Refrain

Yes, I've reached the land of promise with its scenes of glory
My journey ended in a place so lovely and so grand
I've been led by Jesus to this blessed land of story
I'm camping, I'm camping in Canaan's happy land

* Refrain

Family On Both Sides
Key of C

Verse I

The news the doctor gave us as he gave a painful sigh
You need to call your family,
There's just time to say goodbye
And as we gently tried to tell her she'd be leaving anytime
The sweetest Peace came on her face and this was her reply

Chorus:
On the other shore there's millions more that's been waiting there for me
I'll say goodbye for the briefest time, but hellos are eternally
So if the pain I see is meant for me, you can dry your tear filled eyes
I won't be alone in my brand new home: I have family on both sides

Verse II

We have so many loved ones who have already gone,
And it leaves our hearts so broken each time one of them goes on
And even tho' it hurts to see them go, just beyond old Jordan's tide.
There's a host of friends and family waiting for them to arrive

Chrous again

WE'VE BEEN SO BLESSED

It's harvest time again there is plenty

So long God has blessed our land

Hunger has never touched our family

Thanks to His Bountiful Hand

And we've been So Blessed (Preciously Blessed)

So Blessed (Gloriously Blessed)

Blessed by His Bountiful Hand.

We've been So Blessed (So Blessed)

Wondrously Blessed

Blessed by His Bountiful Hand.

He sends the rain and He sends the Sunshine.

And does it again and again.

Lord I just want to thank you

Thank You for your Bountiful Hand

"I'll Live In Glory" Lyrics

I'd like to stay here longer then man's allowed in days
And watch the fleeting changes of life's eneven ways
And if my Savior calls me to that sweet home on high
I'll live with Him forever in glory by and by

Chorus:
Chorus O yes, I'll live in glory by and by,
I'll tell and sing love's story there on high;
There with my dear Redeemer no more to die,
Oh yes, I'll live in glory by and by.

I'd like to be of service along this pilgrim way
And lead the lost to Jesus as fervently I pray
And as day by day I travel I'll keep him ever nigh
And live with Him Forever in Glory by and by.

Oh you know the end I know is nearing, by faith I look away,
To yonder home supernal, the land of endless day;
I'll cling to Him forever and I'll look beyond the sky,
And live with Him forever in glory by and by

Repeat chorus 2x's

I'll Not Be A Stranger"
Probably trad.
As played by Bob Dylan late 1997
Lyrics borrowed from Manfred Helfert's transcription
Tabbed by Eyolf Østrem

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

C F
I'll not be a stranger when I get to that city;
C G
I'm acquainted with folks over there.
C
There'll be friends there to greet me,
F
There'll be loved ones to meet me
C G C
At the gates of that city four square.

G
Through the years, through the tears,
C
They've gone one by one.
G
But they'll wait at the gate
C
Until my race is run.
C F
I'll not be a stranger when I get to that city
C G C
I'm acquainted with folks over there.

c . . G . . C . . | . . .

I'll not be a stranger when I get to that city;
I've a home on the streets paved with gold.
I'll feel right at home there
In that beautiful somewhere
With the loved ones whose memory I hold.

Through the years, through the tears,
They've gone one by one.
But they'll wait at the gate
Until my race is run.
I'll not be a stranger when I get to that city
I'm acquainted with folks over there.

I'll not be a stranger when I get to that city;
There'll be no lonely days over there.
There'll be no stormy weather
But a great time together
On the streets of that city four square.

Through the years, through the tears,
They've gone one by one.
But they'll wait at the gate
Until my race is run.
I'll not be a stranger when I get to that city
I'm acquainted with folks over there.

"Light At The River"
As sung by Bill Anderson

Ã"šÃ‚© '57 Peer International

There's a deep silent river flowin' just beyond
And its waters are deep and wide
It's as dark as the night but my eyes see a light
Just down by the riverside

Chorus:
There's a light at the river
A light at the river a light at the river I can see
My Lord will stand and hold in his hand a light at the river for me

To this deep silent river I have come on my knees
I'm afraid for I know I've sinned
But the beckoning light leads me on through the night
To the waters where my soul may be cleansed

Repeat chorus

I can hear His voice saying come unto me
Dip your wings in the misty tide
Then we'll pass o'er deep and you'll never more weep
In your home on the other side

Repeat chorus

Note: I found another similar version which I will post in a few minutes.
