"I'm not looking for a hole in the ground - I'm looking for one in the sky.
Where I know I'll meet my friends and my loved ones by and by
I get a little weary from the load that I carry but I never sit and cry
"I'm not looking for a hole in the ground - I'm looking for one in the sky.
Is this it?

If you could put up the whole song I'd really appreciate it. I would like to do it this weekend.

Verse 1
I'm not making plans to be buried in some beautiful place.
And I'm not searching for pretty flowers to lay on my grave
If I die before you do tell my loved ones not to cry.
I'm not looking for a hole in the ground, I'm looking for one in the sky.
Verse 2
My name on a tombstone don't sound pretty even if it's written in gold.
You can put this body in the ground where it is dark and cold.
But my soul will live on in eternity where I'll never die.
I'm not looking for a hole in the ground I'm looking for one in the sky.

That's more or less how it goes. I may have gotten some words wrong. I have also herd the chorus like this:
I'm not looking for a hole in the ground I'm looking for one in the sky
When HE comes back to get his children I'm gonna be a flying high.
When HE comes back for me in all of HIS glory together we're all gonna rise
I'm not looking for a hole in the ground I'm looking for one in the sky.

this is how I remember it: Original songwriter & artist: Bud Chambers, written over 3,000 songs. also "Born to Serve the Lord" & "One More River To Cross."

Cho: I'm not looking for a hole in the ground I'm looking for one in the sky. where I know I'll be with the Lord & my loved one's by & by. I get a little weary with the load that I carry. But I never sit & cry. I'm not looking for a hole in the ground, I'm looking for one in the sky.

verse: My name on a tombstone doesn't sound good, even if it's written in gold. You can lay this body under the ground, but remember I've got a soul, that will live on thru e-tern-ity, my soul will never die. I'm not looking for a hole in the ground, I'm looking for one in the sky.

verse: I'm not making any plans to be buried in a beautiful place, and I'm not shopping for any flowers to lay around my grave, but if you go before I do, tell my loved ones not to cry, because I'm not looking for a hole in the ground I'm looking for one in the sky.

Song is by Danny Chambers

Chorus:
I'm not looking for a hole in the ground,
I'm looking for one in the sky.
Where I know I'll be with the Lord
And my loved one's by & by.
I get a little weary with the load that I carry
But I never sit & cry.
I'm not looking for a hole in the ground,
I'm looking for one in the sky.

verse:
I'm not making any plans
To be buried in a beautiful place,
And I'm not shopping for any flowers
To lay around my grave,
But if you go before I do,
Tell my loved ones not to cry,
I'm not looking for a hole in the ground
I'm looking for one in the sky.

verse:
My name on a tombstone
Doesn't sound good,
Even if it's written in gold.
You can lay this body under the ground,
But remember I've got a soul,
That will live on through e-tern-ity,
My soul will never die.
I'm not looking for a hole in the ground,
I'm looking for one in the sky.
