Very Old version of "Come ye who love the Lord"

Post by dadvid » Mon Aug 11, 2008 2:41 am

I have been working on a database of 1800-1850 hymns from the round note hymnals which I have collected from the period. I have found an interesting version of "Come ye who love the Lord" from "Songs of Sacred of Praise" or "The American Collection". It is in Hallelujah Meter. This is the verse that I have:

Come ye who love the Lord
And feel his quick'ning pow'r,
Unite with one accord,
His goodness to adore:
To heav'n and earth, aloud proclaim,
Your great redeemers glorious name.

Does anyone know the rest? Author? and such.
