What a meeting in the air
I have this song on video, so I have copied the words the best I can hear them. I am pretty sure the 2nd verse is not completely right. This might do until someone comes up with the right words.
God bless
Caleb
Gloryland is just not far away
And we'll reach there some glad day
Heaven's home is now my final goal
There to live while ages roll
What a happy day will be
What a glorious jubilee
What a heaven will be there
What a meeting in the air
Wretched lives are O so sad to see
Those who live in misery
But in heaven no more grief or pain
Crippled lives are whole again
God bless
Caleb
Gloryland is just not far away
And we'll reach there some glad day
Heaven's home is now my final goal
There to live while ages roll
What a happy day will be
What a glorious jubilee
What a heaven will be there
What a meeting in the air
Wretched lives are O so sad to see
Those who live in misery
But in heaven no more grief or pain
Crippled lives are whole again
What a meeting in the air
WHAT A MEETING
Verse 1
Gloryland is not so far away
And we'll reach it some glad day
Heaven's home is now my final goal
There to live while ages roll
Chorus
What a happy day 'twill be
What a glorious jubilee
All of Heaven will be there
What a meeting in the air
Verse 2
Wretched lives are oh so sad to see
Those who live in misery
But in Heaven, no more grief or pain
Crippled lives are whole again
Chorus
Repeat Chorus

What a meeting in the air
The Cathedral Quartet also sang this song. Glen Payne could sing it like none other! Patricia is right, the song touched (and blessed) my soul every time I heard it.
If you can find either a tape or CD of the Cathedral Quartet, it will bless your soul too. I remember hearing them sing it in either 1985 or 87 so finding a copy may be a problem. Don't let it leave your sight if you get a copy, though!
