Trying to identify hymn found

imbedded in a YouTube video that shows footage of actual veterans of the Civil War and the Great Plains wars. Some parts clearly include modern instrumentals, but for the most part, it sounds as though there are Latin vocals -- very compelling when paired with the images. I can get no response from the submitter of the video. The url is:
