Thought I would let anyone who was still searching know that "Jesus Took my Burden by Johnson Oatman, Jr. is available in the hymnal Living Hymns, published by Al Smith Ministries, distributed by Striving Together Publications. The hymnal is still available through them...just bought one at Christmas.

I am in agony of spirit today about a matter of suffering in my life - leaving the Exclusive Brethren 11 years ago.

I remembered this old hymn that I liked to sing long ago and I trust that Jesus can still do it...

Here it is 2010, and I looked for the song also. Thank you for finding it for us all. I gather songs for sing-a-longs at senior homes, and this one is great!

What a blessing!!! Only yesterday 23/05/09, while having my morning devotion before work this old song which I had not heard for 20 years or more came into my spirit. After work, I searched all my old hymnals without success. I remembered the 1st verse the chorus and bits of the other verses. I feel thrilled knowing that this song is being an inspiration and encouragement to others at this time. Thanks so much for the lyrics. Be blessed in Jesus' Holy Name. Bedford UK.
