This is a wonderful song by Mosie Lister. It has been covered in another thread.

Thanks!

WHILE THE AGES ROLL ON

Here on this earth with these burdens of life

Tribulations and heartaches they cut like a knife

My footsteps are weary no place to call home

I'll soon be with Jesus while the ages roll on

While the ages roll on (While the ages roll on)

While the ages roll on (While the ages roll on)

I'll soon be with Jesus around the white Thrown

My head on His breast My Head On His breast

His Arms about me His Arms about me

While the ages roll on While the ages roll on

By The Beautiful sea through eternity

Mother and Daddy are up there I know

Memories that haunt me and make my heart cold

But there's one thing that scares me as I carry on

We'll soon be together while the ages roll on

Chrous

Angels will welcome me when I get Home

I'll see the great mansions He's built for His own

With Saints by the millions I'll not be alone

Forever and ever while the ages roll on

I am looking for the music to the song while the ages Roll On.
winka has these lyrics.

Here's a different version:

Someday this stammering tongue will falter no more,
and a grander, sweeter song I will sing.
For I'll join the ransomed choir on heaven's bright shore, for ever to praise the king.

Chorus:
And while the ages roll,
I'll keep on praising him,
And my voice will never tire or grow old.
And my song shall every be praise the Lamb who died for me,
And I'll sing it while ages shall roll.

V2
When a million years have passed in that wonderful place,
my song of praise will just have begun.
For my joy will never end while I look on his face, and my song will never
be done.
