I am looking for this very old song "If We Forget God"

I am sure that is the name but it could also be the opening line of the song I'm just not sure.

Boy this is an old song, but it sure tells of us as a society, doesn't it? I sing this at our Church sometimes. I hope this is what you are looking for.

If We Forget God

If we get God, Satan will rule. If we forget God our nation is doomed.

1. The stories and pictures in most magazines now future new styling's unfit to be seen. And they're placed on the news stand were children can buy. When they go wrong do we wonder why?

Cho: If we forget Got, His mercies will flee and sin will cover the land and the sea. If we forget God, Satan will rule. If we forget God our nation is doomed.

2. So many are climbing fames golden hill by singing of evils that gives this worked a thrill. But I'll sing of Jesus and thought they won't hear, God will bless me for doing His will.

the chorus says,

Hi, Yes, this is the song I am looking for, My brother plays the guitar and sings country gospel and I was just remembering about it as I was filling out a survey about President Obama and his cohorts trying to close God out of our country. Perhaps someone should send these words to him and his cohorts.
