Longing and waiting - deep within our hearts?

For the past week I have been singing a song the my old church used to sing after communion. I want to say that it began with 2 words that ending in -ing... my best guess would be longing and waiting." I also think "deep within our hearts" and "we share the love of our God" also appeared in the song.

Sorry I couldn't be more specific.
