Verse 1: My eyes haven't seen nor have my ears heard what the Father has in store. But when I hear the song of a sweet singing bird I know I'm closer now than I've been before. To that Heavenly home built by God alone. According to His perfect plan. Where the only thing there that's been made by man are the scars in the hands of Jesus.

Chorus:I'm headed for a home. Built by God alone. Hallelujah praise the Lord I am. Where the only thing there that's been made by man are the scars in the hands of Jesus.

Verse 2:When I see a mountain covered with snow falling from Heaven above. Makes me feel so small. Hardly nothing at all just to know that I'll be apart of that mansion world where the gates of pearl are open by an angel band. The name of this song is "Scars in the Hands of Jesus"
I love this song!! It was written by Marijohn Wilkins. I had searched for a long time for a soundtrack for this song, never could find it though, so I thought I would try to call Buckhorn Music in Nashville. Marijohn was the president. so was I surprised to hear her answer the phone. I told her what I wanted and about a week later I got it in the mail, no charge!! Marijohn passed away in 2006. After getting to know her I purchased quite a few of her songs
