I'm not sure if this is the correct song or not,but the Singing Cookes do a song by that title. I could get the words if that would help some, but not sure about the sheet music..Is the chorus something like,
He's alive, He's alive
No death could not hold Him
He's alive, He's alive
That old stone is rolled away...?

please let me know and we may can find at least some links or info to help u if this is the right song...thanks and good luck...debbie

I think this is the song you might be looking for. I'm not sure where to find sheet music for it though.

He's Alive

The gates doors were barred, and all the windows fastened down
I spent the night in sleeplessness, and rose at every sound
Half in hopeless sorrow, and half in fear of the day
But to find the soldiers breakin' through, to take us all away

Then just before the sunrise Iheard somethin' at the wall
The gate began to rattle, and a voice began to call
I hurried to the window, and looked down into the street
Expecting swords and torches, and the sound of soldiers' feet

There was no one there but Mary, so went down to let her in
John stood there beside me, as she told us where she'd been
She said they moved Him in the night, and none us knows where
The stone's been rolled away and now His body is not there

We both ran toward the garden, then John ran on ahead
We found the stone and the empty tomb just the way that Mary said
But the winding sheet they'd wrapped Him in was just an empty shell
And how or where they'd taken Him was more than I could tell

Well somethin' strange had happened there but just what, I didn't know
John beleived a miracle, but I just turned to go
Circumstance and speculation, couldn't lift me very high
Besides I seen Him crucified and then I watched Him die

Well back inside the house again all the guilt and the anguish came
Everything I'd promised Him just added to my shame
And when at last it came to choices, I denied I knew his Name
And even if he was alive it just couldn't be the same

Suddenly! The air was filled with a strange and sweet perfume
Light that came from everywhere drew shadows through the room
Jesus stood before me, with His arms held open wide
And I fell down on my knees to Him and just clung to Him and cried

Then He raised me to my feet, and as I looked into His eyes
Love was shining out from Him like sunlight from the skies
Guilt and my confusion, disappeared in sweet release
And every fear I ever had just vanished into peace

He's alive! He's alive! He's alive and you're forgiven!
Heaven's gate are open wide!
He's alive! He's alive! He's alive and you're forgiven!
Heaven's gate are open wide!
He's alive! He's alive! He's alive and you're forgiven!
Heaven's gate are open wide!
He's alive! He's alive!
He's a-live!
He's a-live!

He's Alive

Once I went walking down a long lonely road,
I thought I had no one who would share my heavy load.
Then my mind went soaring back to a place I've never been,
And I realized I was standing at the foot of my King.

There were three lonely crosses on a hillside that day,
And as I looked at my Saviour I cried, "Lord, take me away."
There was blood flowing down as the thorns pierced His head,
He cried, "Father forgive them," and then my Saviour was dead.

Well I stood there in silence thinking Lord how can this be,
That Your Beloved Son gave His life just for me?
Then I heard a sweet voice whisper, "Child lift up your head,
For the one that you see hanging there, well He is not dead."

He's alive, He's alive no death could not hold Him.
He's alive, He's alive , oh the stone was rolled away.
Satan thought he'd won the battle when Jesus died on that tree.
Oh, but Jesus came back from the grave and He won the victory.
