I am still looking for the lyrics and sheet music to "Ezekial Saw the Wheel turning, way in the middle of the air. The big wheel ran by faith, the little wheel ran by the grace of God. A wheel in a wheel, turning, way in the middle of the air. My Dad used to sing this song. Does anyone know this one?

Ezekiel

Ezekiel saw a wheel a-rolling,
Away in the middle of the air.
A wheel within a wheel a-rolling,
Way in the middle of the air.

And the big wheel ran by faith,
And the little wheel ran by the grace of God,
Ezekiel saw a wheel a-rolling
Away in the middle of the air.

As with many Spirituals, the song can continue indefinitely by adding verses. Here are some common ones:

Ezekiel saw a bell a-ringing (or a-tolling)
Ezekiel saw a light a-shining (or star a-shining)
Ezekiel saw a fire a-burning
Ezekiel saw a boy a-growing
