I'm looking for lyrics and recording information for this song. The chorus lyrics are:
He chose me
He chose me
Out of all that He could have used
He chose me
He chose me
Use me 'til You use me up
I think this was recorded by Jackson College of Ministries in the early 80's; I'd like to find the recording, sheet music, or at least the lyrics, if possible. I remember most of the lyrics except for the verse(s). Any lead will be appreciated.
He Chose Me
He Chose Me
I found two versions one by Lavel and one by the O'neal twins. Both are the lyrics your looking for. I can't find a copy of the lyrics though. If you go to Rhapsody.com you can hear the them.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

He Chose Me
This is a beautiful song & can be found on Say Amen, Somebody, the 1982 documentary of gospel music. It's out of print, but can sometimes find the CD at a reasonable price. The O'Neil Twins are singing it. Also it is posted on YouTube. I'm still looking for the sheet music or lead sheet and the complete lyrics would be nice too!

He Chose Me
He chose Me....He chose Me...Out of all that he could have used...(2x)
I gave you my heart, and I gave you my soul, I gave you life for complete control, you can use me, til' you use me up...(2x)

He chose me He chose me Out of all that He could have used

Gave over my life to complete control
He can use me 'til He use me up...

Bridge
Use me Lord in thy service
Draw me nearer everyday
I'll be willing Lord to walk all the way
If I fall down while I'm trying
Don't be angry, let me stand
I'll be willing Lord to walk all the way
He chose me
Out of all that He could have used
He chose me He chose me He can use 'til He use me up
I gave Him my Heart And I gave my soul
Gave over my life to complete control

Re: He Chose Me
I love this song. It is actually 2 songs combined.
The "bridge" is actually an old gospel song I learned as a child. It is sung as a call and response (soloist sings first and church sings the same words in response)
USE ME LORD IN THY SERVICE
Use me Lord (use me Lord ) in thy service (in that service)
Draw me nearer...each and every day
For I'm willing Lord to run on...all of the way....every step of the way)
If I falter(If I falter) while I'm trying (while I'm trying)
Don't be angry(don't be angry) just let me stay(let me stay
For I am willing Lord to run on ....all the way.
All the way Lord (all the way) All the way (all the way)
All the way Lord (all the way Lord) Every step of way (all the way)
For I'm willing Lord to run on all the way, yeah
If I falter, while I'm trying don't be angry .. just let me stay...
For I am willing lord to run on...all the way.
I believe Bishop Carlton Pearson sang it the way I'm trying to explain .. it's an old Negro Spiritual we sang in the old Louisiana/Mississippi Baptist Churches of the 40's 50's and 60's. I love these old songs.
