Zion's Hill and a song called Stormy Waters
I am searching for the words and music or chords to these two songs. Zion's Hill was playing on the radio the day my grandmother got saved and she is 86!! I would love to be able to play these two songs. Thank you so much for this web site- I truelly enjoy reading what other Christians have to say about our Lord and Master- for I will never be able to tell all that He has done for me. I can say that I love the Lord with all my heart. May God Bless!! Please send music or chords if found here [email protected]
Zion's Hill and a song called Stormy Waters
Here is the words to Zion's Hill
Zion's Hill
G C C
There awaits for me a glad tomorrow
Where the gates of Pearl swings open wide
C
And when I have passed the vail of sorrow,
G D G
I will change upon the other side.
C G
Someday beyond the reach of mortal ken
D
Someday God only knows just where and when
G C G
The wheels of mortal life will all stand still,
D G
And I shall go to dwell on Zion's Hill.
Someday I'll hear the angels singing
Beyond the shadows of the Tomb.
And all the bells of heaven ringing,
While Saints are singing, home sweet home.
Someday my labors will be ended
And all my wanderings will be over.
And all earth's broken ties be mended.
And I shall sigh and weep no more.
Someday the dark clouds will be rifted,
And all the night of gloom will be past.
And all life's burdens will be lifted,
The day of rest shall dawn at last.
Zion's Hill

Zion's Hill and a song called Stormy Waters
Stormy waters - Jimmy Martin
Though a pilgrim on earth I may journey alone
Knowing not what the future may hold, may hold
I'd rather have Jesus and sing a sweet song
That to covet their silver and gold
Refrain:
Stormy water around me and the tempest and fury may roll
But I have my dear Savior how he helps me nobody can know
When it seems I'm forsaken and my earthly friends misunderstand
Stormy waters surround me but I'll hold to God's unchanging hand
Angry billows may toss me and cause me to fear
Stormy waters around me may roll
I will hold to the hand of my Savior so dear
He's the Shepherd that's keeping my soul
* Refrain
Though I have disappointments so often I sigh
And my cabin is humble and bare, and bare
But someday I'll inherit a mansion on high
Where the beauties of heaven I'll share
* Refrain
* Refrain
Though I have disappointments so often I sigh
And my cabin is humble and bare, and bare
But someday I'll inherit a mansion on high
Where the beauties of heaven I'll share
* Refrain
