Stuart Hamblin also wrote the song, "This Old House>" His grandson told the story behind the song at the Bill Gaither Homecoming Concert held in a big tent at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2011. It's on one of the two videos recorded at that event. I believe the titles are "Tent Revival" and "The Old Rugged Cross.'

Stuart Hamblen did not write Until Then. Tim Spencer wrote it and then sold it to Stuart. Tim did not have a “name”, and Hollywood at the time and the music industry was very competitive. He also sold many of his songs to Gene Aurey and others. Once a song is sold, the buyer can say he wrote it, when the truth is, he bought it.
Tim Spencer’s publishing company was Manna Music. He was instrumental in helping Andrea Crouch get established. Also he worked with many of the famous choirs in the 60’s and 70’s. Manna Music also published How Great Thou Art.
