JESUS NEVER FAILS TO HEAR ME WHEN I PRAY.

[wyatt lee carroll]

Hello, everyone! I’m hoping someone might be able to help me find the words to two old gospel songs, “Jesus Never Fails to Hear Me When I Pray” and “I’m Going There.” I believe both songs were sung by the Portwood Family and were on the same record. My great-grandmother had the record, which I believe she bought around 1968. I would surely appreciate it if anyone remembers these songs and happens to have the lyrics. Any help would be mighty kind and greatly appreciated!

Sincerely, Wyatt.

Please correct and fill in the blanks

many times i’ve failed the Lord
failed to heed His holy word
and sometimes from Him ive wandered far away
but because of love devine
i am His and He is mine
and He never fails to hear me when i pray

Jesus never fails to hear me when i pray
though i may not get the answer right away
though I ? an ernest plea
what I ? to me
for He never fails to hear me when i pray

?
but my vows I now renew
asking Him to lead and guide me everyday
by His greace the path ?
I shall serve Him from now on
and I know that He will hear me when I pray

Jesus never fails to hear me when i pray
though i may not get the answer right away
though I ? an ernest plea
what I ? to me
for He never fails to hear me when i pray

Thought I heard an Ernest Plea, What I need he'll gove to me

That song is in the old red Church Hymnal.

Jesus Never Fails To Hear Me When I Pray
Many times I’ve Failed the Lord, failed to heed his Holy word, and sometimes from him I wandered far away, but because of love divine I am his and he is mine and he never fails to hear me when I pray.
Chorus
Jesus never fails to hear me when I pray, though I may not get the answer right away, but I hear and err and plead, what I need he’ll give to me for he never fails to hear me when I pray.
2.
but my vows I now renew
asking Him to lead and guide me everyday
by His greace the path ?
I shall serve Him from now on
and I know that He will hear me when I pray
3.
Though my heart has turned aside, in my weakness I have cried, And my steps have faltered on this narrow way, Still His mercy lifts me up, fills my soul from grace’s cup, For He never fails to hear me when I pray.
