Name of Hymn??? I need to be a skillful sword

Hello,
I having tried to find a hymn I heard on the radio, but I have had no success in doing so. One difficulty I have regarding this song is remembering the lyrics. I do, however, remember the hymn included the lyrics, "I need to be a skillful (or sharpened...I do not quite remember) sword to fight the enemy," "You spoke the Word and light appeared," and "Word of Life (or Light...I don't recall exactly). Does anyone have any clues as to which hymn I have described? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, and have a tremendous day.
