Hello, I'm searching for the lyrics to the following music:
http://www.kt.rim.or.jp/~moclin/hymn/hy1_510.mid
It's a well known hymn in the churches in Japan, but I'm not able to find the original English lyrics. What I know so far, is that the author and composer MAY be Carrie E. Breck (who also goes by Mrs. Frank A. Breck) and Henry L. Gilmour.
It sings of a mother's prayer for her child to return to the Lord.
The meaning of the refrain is something like this:
In spring, like raindrops from eaves, In fall, like the dewdrops in the garden,
Your mother's tears are flowing ceaselessly In her prayer, don't you know?
If this sounds familiar to you, I would appreciate any help. Even if it's just a little part of the lyrics.
Thank you!
A Mother's Prayer
