I AM TRYING TO FIND THE WORDS TO THIS GOSPEL SONG CALLED,ON TOP OF MOUNT ZION.
ONE LINE IS I'LL GET TO LOOK INTO CANNAN'S FAIR LAND . I'LL SING AND I'LL SHOUT WHEN I REACH THAT CITY.......
I HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME OUT WITH THE LYRICS.
WE USED TO SING THE SONG IN OUR OLD CHURCH THAT BURNED DOWN 5YRS. AGO AND I LOST MY SONG BOOK .

these are most of the words as i remember. i have heard it before, but may not have every word exactly right. hopefully this may jog your memory of the missing last line ( unless i think of it beforehand..it will drive me crazy) i have also heard it by the title, I'll never walk in the valley.

last 2 lines are something on the line of
Yes, thanks(praise) be to God , it will be just a shadow(?)
When on top of Mt. Zion I stand..

If i find the cd or find it in a book, i will post corrections..not sure about shadow, but nothing else seems to come to mind..sorry...debbie

I do believe these are the lyrics I am looking for.
I'm glad you could fill in the gaps for me. I was beginning to think
no one knew what I was talking about. This song has always blessed me .

you are right about the "shadow" part of the song. that is the right word! beautiful song, especially in acapella.
