When You Fall On Your Knees, He Will Give Your Heart Ease...

[Sleyk]

Can someone tell me the name and author of this song?

My church used to sing it a long time ago when I was a boy, and I barely remember the last part of the lyrics and melody in my head. It's something like this:

"When you fall on your knees,
He will give your heart ease,
He's always there,
And He'll hear, when you pray."

It was a choral response song that the whole church or choir sung after the main service prayer. I loved that short little chorus as a boy, and I hope someone can direct me to finding the lyrics or the song if you know it?

Thank you!

Hi Sleek,

I've been unproductively searching.
What church / denomination was this?
That clue might narrow down the search.

Keep on praying, Keep on praying and heavens door will unlock. Keep on praying, Keep on praying and heavens door will unlock. When you pray you've got the key to the kingdom, and your faith will unlock the door. When you fall on your knees He'll give your heart ease. He's always near and he'll hear if you pray. When you pray you've got the key to the kingdom, and your faith will unlock the door. When you fall on your knees He'll give your heart ease. He's always near and he'll hear if you pray.
Sky's will brighten, burden lighten if you pray
Wrongs will righten, faith will tighten if you pray
He will take you in his arms, don't you fret don't be alarmed
He's always near and he'll hear if you pray
