It seems as thought there is another verse that begins --

They'll not be a drifter anymore.

My father, Earl Wheeler, wrote this song, in the mid 1960s, and recorded it with his wife, Louise, and my brothers, Ed and Don Wheeler, playing guitars, with Jack Lynch, the producer and owner of Jalyn Records, on bass.
