Down in the lowlands

My mother remembers her father singing this old hymn as he plowed and I've been unable to locate it anywhere. I would dearly love to find it for her. All she remembers of the lyrics are:
Down in the lowlands there are many gone astray
Give them the message from above
Speed oh speed away
Tell them of Jesus and his love.
