If Anyone knows the words, or might have the song "The Blood Runs Deep" that Wendy Bagwell and the Sunliters have on one of their cd's please get in touch with me.
It's a very old cd, too. Anyone who has info please email me at [email protected].
Thanks

Need Lyrics to "The Blood Runs Deep"

(thanks for sharing this song I never heard it until I went searching for it) I hope I have typed these words out correctly

1st verse
It started on a mountain called Calvary, with a few drops, falling to the sand
It was the birth of the river of mercy, born from the blood of the lamb
when as it moves down the mountain and it covers the land with love and the further it flows from which it came nothing can stop the mighty flood

chorus
and the blood runs deep, the river never ends, the currents strong enought to wash away all sin. what was spilt on that mountain is greater than the sea the blood runs deep, the blood runs deep.

2nd verse
today is like many storms before us we are cleansed by his redeeming blood and we drink of his cup and we rember how. we are free by the power of his love.

Here are the lyrics as I have heard them. I use to have the Wendy Bagwell recording but don't know where it is now.

The Blood Runs Deep

It started on a mountain called Calvary
With a few drops falling to the sand
It was the birth of a river of mercy
Flowing out from the side of the Lamb
And it grew as it moved down that mountain
And it covered the land with love
The further it flowed, the stronger it became
Nothing could stop it's mighty flood

chorus
The blood runs deep
The river never ends
The current's strong enough
To wash away all sin
What spilled on that mountain is greater than the sea
The blood runs deep, the blood runs deep

Today like so many gone before us
We are cleansed by His redeeming blood
And we drink this cup
and remember how
We are freed by the power of His love

Chorus
The blood runs deep
The river never ends
The current's strong enough
To wash away all sin
What spilled on that mountain is greater than the sea
The blood runs deep, the blood runs deep
The blood runs deep, the blood runs deep
