V1 In a book called the bible, God sent to us His word. And in so many other ways His gentle voice is heard. the singing birds, the whispering winds, or

v2 A crowd, a cross, a hill create a picture in my mind of the greatest
act of love a searching heart could ever find. Then heaven hid it's face***
'cause God and angels couldn't bare to watch the Savior dying for a
world that did not care.***

(***The part between the *** is not what was originally written but I changed it a little because, if I remember correctly, it only talked about the angels turning away and it was really the Father that did so I wanted it to be more biblical - even though He turned away because of the sin Jesus was taking on Himself and I do thank Him for that!!!!)
